My Commitment

I take great pride in my work and stand behind every image I create. My commitment is straightforward: to deliver photographs that meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and craftsmanship.

Every project is approached with care, attention to detail, and respect for the subject — whether documenting artwork, creating a portrait, or producing imagery for commercial use. From planning through final delivery, I work methodically to ensure consistency, clarity, and results that align with your expectations and intended use.

If something does not meet your expectations, it will be addressed. Adjustments and refinements are part of a professional process, and I take responsibility for the final outcome. Your confidence in the work matters, and my goal is for every project to be completed with a level of quality you are comfortable standing behind.

This commitment extends beyond individual images. It reflects how I work, how I communicate, and how I approach long-term professional relationships built on trust, reliability, and consistent results

About

I’m Vince Klassen, a photographer based in Victoria, BC. My journey with photography started at age nine and grew into a lifelong passion. After exploring film and video in my early years, I launched my professional photography career in 1991.

Since then, my work has been published nationally and internationally, earning recognition from the Graphic Designers of Canada. Some of my personal projects have even been exhibited and collected by the International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum.

Photography, for me, is about more than just capturing an image—it’s about telling a story and preserving a moment in time. I draw from both classical and contemporary techniques, blending tradition with innovation to create images that resonate.

Studio

At my studio, I use precision tools and controlled workflows to support a wide range of photographic services — including fine art reproduction, commercial photography, and specialized studio capture.

The studio is equipped for high-resolution, color-accurate reproduction of 2-dimensional artwork, such as paintings and works on paper, as well as three-dimensional objects and installations requiring careful lighting and surface control. Art reproduction projects are photographed using a fully color-managed workflow designed to produce files suitable for archival, exhibition, and fine-art printing.

I work with Hasselblad medium-format cameras and lenses, chosen for their exceptional resolution, tonal depth, and geometric accuracy — qualities that are critical when photographing artwork. Lighting is fully controlled using high-powered strobes, projection systems, and a wide range of modifiers to eliminate glare, manage texture, and render surfaces faithfully.

For projects that require mobility, I also use the Broncolor Move lithium battery flash system, allowing museum-quality capture both in the studio and on location while maintaining consistent lighting and color accuracy.

If you have a project in mind — whether fine art reproduction or commercial photography — I offer no-obligation consultations to discuss your requirements and the best approach for your work. My goal is to deliver technically precise images with a smooth, professional experience from start to finish.
